How does it work?
Digital CCD network cameras are installed at the location of choice. The camera views the "scene" and broadcasts the live video in a secure digitized signal over a LAN line (Local Area Network) where it's then transmitted to a computer or server. Using special software provided to you, the cameras can be viewed and recorded on-site or remotely monitored off-site using a high-speed internet connection. Of course there are many things to consider when implementing a system, so contact us and we can explore with you the options best suited for your needs.

Sounds Great, Is the System Cost Effective?
Absolutely! Using an IP Video based system can save you money! With standard CCTV systems you would need to hire an electrician to to wire power for each camera; with our network cameras we use POE (Power Over Ethernet), a low voltage solution that powers the camera with the same cable that the data travels. This safe, cutting edge technology is future proof and made to last! With an existing network infrastructure the costs are even lower!
Can you List Other Benefits of this Type of System?
- Digital picture quality is far superior to analog.
- IP-based recording offers instant transmittal of video anywhere in the world.
- Monitor multiple cameras from any remote location.
- Adjustable frame rates.
- IP-base recording is highly compressed for easy storage and can be written to a variety of media formats.
- No decrease in quality over time or with repeated replays.
- Digital images can be encrypted for security purposes.
- Updates and add-ons are relatively inexpensive through software packages and Internet computer networking.
- Remote or shared viewing may be done over the Internet or a wireless connection.
- Standard IP video compression techniques are used.
- IP surveillance cameras may be added individually or in groups according to your needs.
